Twitter Blue introduces 10,000 character tweets and Subscriptions for exclusive content

Twitter has announced that users who pay for its premium version, Twitter Blue, can now write tweets of up to 10,000 characters, a significant increase from the previous limit of 4,000 characters. This new feature is aimed at giving users more space to express themselves and share their thoughts on the platform.

In addition to the increased character limit, Twitter Blue users can also put text in bold or italics. This feature is expected to be popular with users who want to highlight important points or make their tweets stand out.

Twitter has also announced a new feature called "Subscriptions," which replaces the previously named "Super Follows." With Subscriptions, users can charge people $3, $5, and $10 a month for exclusive content, including subscriber-only chats in Spaces. Twitter has promised not to take any of their earnings for the next 12 months, except for transaction fees.

The move is part of Twitter's efforts to diversify its revenue streams and provide more value to its users. The company has been testing the Super Follows feature since earlier this year and has now rebranded it to Subscriptions.
