OpenBSD 7.3: A Testament to Security and Stability

OpenBSD 7.3, the 54th release of the BSD operating system, has been announced by its founder, Theo de Raadt. This version includes a kernel, SMP, and VMM/VMD improvements, updates to Direct Rendering Manager and graphics drivers, various new userland features, bug fixes and tweaks, improved hardware support and driver bug fixes, and much more.

Theo de Raadt expressed his pride in the release, noting that OpenBSD has “more than twenty years with only two remote holes in the default install”. He believes this is a testament to the security and stability of the operating system.

OpenBSD 7.3 is available for download from the OpenBSD website. Users are encouraged to upgrade as soon as possible to take advantage of the new features and bug fixes.
